New York City and John Lennon have a pretty storied relationship together from his social and political activism to his anti-was campaign and much much more. Featured pieces on display include personal items like hand-written lyrics and artwork, photos, instruments, some of his fashion statements and that iconic “New York City” t-shirt as seen in this accompanying photo. One of the best affordable Vietnamese restaurants in the city, Nha Trang is right near the downtown courthouse, making it a high volume place. Despite that, the food is great and the Pho (rice noodle soup) dishes are $5 and under. When you think of getting drinks, hitting the library is not the first thing that comes to mind but the Brandy Library may change your view. There’s no books on the wall but plenty of spirits including a wide range of brandies, whiskies, rums, and much more in a laid back atmosphere. One of the best taqueria’s in the city, the Mexican food here is authentic and to die for. While tacos will set you back $3, plates are in the $6 to $7.25 range.
